About-us

Based in Newcastle, NSW, we are a team of allied health professionals, aiming to empower people with disabilities to gain independence in every day living. We support our families with a range of therapies including; Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Music Therapy, Community Access, Assessments, Telehealth, Intensives and School Holiday Social Programs. Our multidisciplinary team of therapists work with people of all ages, backgrounds and disabilities.

OUR TEAM

Our team of therapists work closely together to share their experiences and knowledge to provide the best outcomes for our families. Every therapist receives discipline-specific supervision and participates in ongoing professional education. The whole team joins in for supervision and consultation with specialists to ensure our therapists are up to date with latest research and utilising best practice.

We are also proud to host university students and participate in the education of new therapists, so expect to see some young faces joining sessions.

Of course, having such wonderful students coming through and learning all about the wonderful changes we make with families, we can’t let the good ones go! The ones we keep hold of and that are available around their university commitments, we can extend therapeutic goals into the community.

“Our vision is to help and support other families similar to our own who are faced with difficulties due to developmental, behavioural, or learning challenges”.

- Owners, David & Rochelle Appleby
