Yes, you heard correctly! Red Frog for Families is now able to provide direct psychology services to our participants.

To see a Clinical Psychologist, our standard rate is $280 per hour

To see a Provisional Psychologist, our standard rate is $232.99 per hour

If you are using NDIS funding, all psychology services will be billed at $232.99 per hour

If you have not had occupational therapy or speech therapy before, or you’ve had a bit of a break from it, it may be required that you book an assessment prior to commencing therapy sessions.

Assessments include initial meeting, assessment sessions, report writing and outcome meeting.

The therapist will determine the number of hours during your initial meeting and advise you at that time.

Assessments are charged based upon the hours that are required and the complexity of report that is produced (summary vs comprehensive functional assessment). Please note that functional assessments (over 12 years old) typically take between 10 to 15 hours. Assessments for under 12 is generally 6 to 8 hours.

Assessments are charged by the hour. Each hour is charged at a rate of $193.99.  

You will only be charged for the time spent and not necessarily for the typical amount listed above. Please contact us discuss your goals so that we can provide you with an estimate.

Includes all sessions completed in clinic for occupational therapy, speech therapy, and social work. Sessions consist of both face-to-face time and non-face-to-face time where the therapist completes planning and documentation, billed a total of one hour and fifteen minutes.

Support to access the local community including recreation, leisure, learning, and transport to and from therapy sessions. Community access sessions can be booked to assist with transport or support in-home or in the community. 

Includes all sessions completed by our community access team and the kilometres as per the NDIS travel rate guide for in area and out of area participants.

Weekdays per hour $70.23 (min 2 hours) 
Travel rate is $1.00 per KM 

(Higher price applies for evenings, weekends and public holidays, in line with NDIS price guide)

Therapist conducts an Initial Community Access Meeting with the carer to gather all information required to set up ongoing Community Access supports and sessions.

Completion of occupational therapy or speech therapy screener to gain a better understanding of your child’s need. This is completed in a 30min session (per discipline).

These programs include a series of therapy sessions over a five-day period (for all disciplines) during the school holidays. Usually scheduled for 1.5 or 2 hours face to face each day, with an additional non-face-to-face service element each day for planning and required documentation. These sessions can also be completed within the home or community environment (travel costs will be added for out of clinic service provision).

This includes any interventions or therapy strategies specific to participant and not a generalised skill/intervention that multiple participants would then benefit from e.g., Sounds Write program, creation of individualised sensory diet with research involved. This could be utilised if intervention goes beyond general session planning e.g., additional research, planning and creation required.

This includes the time it takes for the therapist to set up the device for usage. For example, transferring data from one device to another, adding in additional pages, buttons, photos etc. assembling device with appropriate accessories such as a keyguards. Following Community Access Initial Meeting with treating therapist, Community Access member and caregiver, the treating therapist is required to complete all relevant planning documentation to support the ongoing care of participant. During this billable time the treating therapist compiles all of the relevant information needed for our team to provide the best support to the participant and help support the participant to work towards their goals. 

This is billed as a one hour service.
