Our Participant Support Team will assist you with a lot of your day to day administration, meaning you can focus on quality therapy.

Are you looking for excellent learning opportunities?

We have an extensive induction program to support you to quickly gain confidence. We will steadily increase the number of participants you see to ensure the number of participants you see each week is manageable. We will care for you by ensuing your work load is fair and achievable.

You will have weekly supervision with experienced occupational therapists and an opportunity to attend weekly POD (Professional Opportunities for Development) meetings where complex case studies are presented and learning shared.

We value learning and seek both internal and external supervision opportunities to ensure you connect and collaborate with exceptional mentors across the world.

We provide a yearly professional development budget of $2000 for you to advance your learning, knowledge, and career.

What will the role look like?

We primarily are a clinic based service, with a mix of private and NDIS participants. Our occupational therapists consult in schools, homes and the community.

We see participants between the ages of 0-30 years needing support with a variety of developmental challenges.

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy

  • Full AHPRA registration

  • Current Working with Children Check (for employment)

  • Police Criminal check

  • Current First Aid Certificate

Selection criteria

  • Demonstration of care, compassion, and connection with people with different abilities.

  • Ability to quickly and effectively build rapport with people of various backgrounds, abilities, and cultures.

  • Understanding of best practice in your area of therapeutic knowledge for developmental disabilities.

  • Ability to contribute to, develop, and implement best-practice methodologies with a sound evidence base.

Salary: $74,000.00 – $103,000.00 per year
